Vive Serial Number
Apr 5, 2018 - I have tried to redeemed as an existing vive user for almost 2 weeks now. I must say that the support is _very_ slow. Now it seems like the web. Re: Treating the Vive Tracker as a Vive controller Hey, i used that converter on a tracker a while ago and now i am unable to convert the tracker back to its tracker role. Can you help me out with that please.

After compiling with and then running The HTC Vive itself is dark (with a red light on). EDIT: The same error occurs with The Vive light remains red with the screen off. |

Have you added your device to the udev rules described at https://github.com/OpenHMD/OpenHMD#configuring-udev-on-linux seems like you forgot that step. Also, are you running on master? 0.2.0 does not have Vive support. |

Yes, I forgot the udev rules :-) I ran it on Final question: the Is this the expected behavior? Is there anyway currently to get OpenHMD rendering in a Vive (and if not, with a Rift CV1)? |

Assuming you are running Linux with a Nvidia card, you probably need to set the AllowHMD setting in your xorg configuration. |

The OpenGLexample currently uses extended mode, hence the need for enabling access through X. |

Beware.. HTC support claiming that without serial numbers they cannot repair broken controller..

So apparently in the box there were a number of small stickers with barcodes on them that were the serial numbers for the items shipped. I can't find those tiny bits of paper.. HTC support say.. and I quote:
'Kindly note that i got all details i need except the most important detail of the S/N for the controllers & the unit S/N. I'm sorry to tell you that i won't be able to proceed with the booking without those details, i even won't be able to save the repair ticket without those S/N .
Flower bouquet images free download4. So kindly advised what you mean by ' box disposed of ', need your help to try to get those S/N numbers otherwise i won't be able to send my request to repair center .
I shall be waiting for your reply ASAP please to arrange for the controller to be sent for repair so you can enjoy playing with your VIVE soon.'
The best I could do was take all the numbers off underside of the controller and send those over, hoping one of them is the serial number.
I'll be having a huge row about their obligations under 1 year warranty if they try and wriggle out of it.
